We investigated the brain electrical activity of dogs with classic idiopathic epilepsy (EIC) by the quantitative electroencephalogram (EEGc), using the brainwave coherence analysis. Quantification of electroencephalogram (EEG) of 24 healthy adult dogs and 24 adults’ dogs with EIC was performed. The spectral estimation is performed for interhemispheric channel comparing frequency values for both groups by measuring the maximun of power spectra (PPC). In both groups of dogs, channels recorded activity of dorsal neocortex has a different electrical behavior which registered the channels in the temporal cortex.
