O território do Estado de Puebla e a sua representação nas exposições universais da segunda mitade do s. XIX.

The geographical space in the one that develops the human activity, is constituted and controlled by a multiplicity of elements and factors of different nature that cross and characterize the conditions of life and of work of the communities that live this space, in a historical certain moment, by what it is delimited, cut away, imagined and represented in agreement to the needs and interests of the human groups that occupy it. In this paper we analyze the territory that nowadays occupies Puebla State, Mexic, to give step to a tight inventory of the transformations that has suffered in to develop of the time. Our aim is to raise that the territorial configurations are a result of historical processes. We expose some elements that have been considered to be representative of the geographical space villager under the stamp of its internal dynamics bearing in mind the influence that there exercised events of world scope like the universal exhibitions of the second half of the 19th century and beginnings of the 20th century. Especially we study the Universal Exhibition of Paris of 1900 that allowed to consolidate the features of Puebla.El espacio geográfico en el que se desarrolla la actividad humana, está constituido e intervenido por una multiplicidad de elementos y factores de distinta índole que atraviesan y caracterizan las condiciones de vida y de trabajo de las comunidades que habitan ese espacio, en un momento histórico determinado, por lo que es delimitado, recortado, imaginado y representado de acuerdo a las necesidades e intereses de los grupos humanos que lo ocupan. En esta contribución analizamos el territorio que actualmente ocupa el estado de Puebla, México, para dar paso a un apretado recuento de las transformaciones que ha sufrido en el devenir del tiempo. Nuestro objetivo es plantear que las configuraciones territoriales son resultado de procesos históricos. Exponemos algunos elementos que han sido considerados representativos del espacio geográfico poblano bajo la impronta de su dinámica interna tomando en cuenta la influencia que ejercieron eventos de alcance mundial como lo fueron las exposiciones universales de la segunda mitad del siglo XIX e inicios del siglo XX. En particular estudiamos la Exposición Universal de París de 1900 que permitió consolidar los rasgos de Puebla
