Perfiles de riesgo infantil y niveles de intervención con familias usuarias del Sistema Público Servicios Sociales

The aim of this study is to know the risk profile related with child well-being of families in Social Services and to verify whether the families attended in the different levels of intervention show differential profiles of risk. In addition, the relationships of certain socio-demographic variables and indicators of risk with the child welfare were analyzed. For it, the professionals of the Andalusian Social Services were requested for applying the Child Well-being Scales to 770 families. The results show that the level of child well-being in these families tends to be low and that there exist very remarkable differences between profiles of risk that support the technical decisions adopted. Likewise, there is stated that socio-demographics variables as level of income, educational level, labour status and marital status of the parents, or that family risk variables present in parents as history of child abuse, psychological problems or aggressive behaviour were also related with the child well-being.Este estudio pretende conocer el perfil de riesgo en relación con el bienestar infantil de las familias usuarias de los Servicios Sociales y comprobar si las familias que son atendidas en los distintos niveles de intervención presentan perfiles de riesgo diferenciales. Además, se analiza la relación con el bienestar infantil de determinadas variables sociodemográficas e indicadores de riesgo familiar. Para ello, se solicitó a los profesionales de los Servicios Sociales andaluces que completaran las Escalas de Bienestar Infantil de un total de 770 familias. Los resultados muestran que el nivel de bienestar infantil en estas familias tiende a ser bajo y que existen perfiles de riesgo diferenciales muy notables que apoyan las decisiones técnicas adoptadas. Asimismo, se constata que variables sociodemográficas tales como nivel de ingresos, nivel formativo, estatus laboral y estado civil de los padres, o que variables de riesgo familiar tales como el historial de maltrato infantil en los padres, problemas psicológicos o conducta agresiva en los padres, entre otras, tienen relación con en el nivel de bienestar infantil
