Discovery of renewable energy as an alternative means of generating power without depleting the ozone layer or doubling Co2 in the ecosphere is crucial in managing climate change risks. This study explains the awareness of the people in Ibadan metropolis about the adverse effect of climate change. 300 questionnaires were administered using random sampling technique in six communities drawn from four local governments out of nine in Ibadan metropolis in Oyo state.
