In this paper I propose to understand the emerging spatial configuration as a result of the capitalist modernization of the agrarian structure in the province of La Pampa. This period is characterized by a strong trend towards concentration of land ownership, with a decrease in the number of producers because of the disappearance of a large number of farms in the lower-surfaces. The deepening of neoliberal policies in the 90s, a stage marked by economic deregulation and the withdrawal of the State, accelerated changes in the socioeconomic structure of agriculture, exacerbating the process of social polarization.
