Aproximaciones a la teoría crítica de la sociedad

The purpose of the present article is to make an exam of the most problematic concepts of Habermas in front of his different critics: The communicative action, the universality and rationality of the language structure, the agreement as a basis of the truth, the "dictatorship" of the media, the language seen as an interpretative action and the modern division of the cultur in three spheres of value. Another topic of our interest is to take one position in front of the based critic wich mens that communication theories are a typic case of "theoretic poorness and low epistemological penetration" and that in the particular case of the critic theory of the society and its theory of the communication would make a point of adherence to an acritical way leading to a general interpretative orientation. We will see if the specific conception of communication theory as it is the communicative action that Habermas calims, coluld fall into tis critic, through the exploration of the thesis which understands the language (communication) as an action and at the same time as an interpretation.El propósito del presente ensayo es realizar un examen de los conceptos más problemáticos de Habermas frente a sus críticos: la acción comunicativa, la universalidad y racionalidad de la estructura del lenguaje, el consenso como fundamento de la verdad, la 'dictadura' de los medios de comunicación, el lenguaje visto como acción e interpretación y la división moderna de la cultura en tres esferas de valor. Otro tema de nuestro interés es tomar una posición frente a la crítica fundamentada en que las teorías de la comunicación son un caso típico de "pobreza teórica y escasa penetración epistemológica" y que en el caso particular de la teoría crítica de la sociedad y de su teoría de la comunicación se trataría de un "camino de adhesión acrítica a una orientación interpretativa general". Veremos si la conceptualización específica de la teoría de la comunicación como es la noción de acción comunicativa de Habermas cae bajo esa crítica, mediante una explotación de la tesis que entiende el lenguaje (comunicación) como acción y al mismo tiempo como interpretación
