The article addresses the challenges posed to Venezuelan immigrants’ reception services in the city of Manaus, capital of Amazonas, in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. We briefly describe the presence of these migrants in the city, focusing on an occupation that took shape around the bus station. We also bring the governmental response, through military intervention, which resulted in the reorganization of the space. The main goal is to problematize the limits of the state response and the increasing vulnerabilities of these migrants with the arrival of the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), since the project carried out did not aimed at social distancing or contemplated the personal hygiene conditions recommended by the health authorities ...
