When women are violent: an analysis of the media facing feminine leading role

El artículo analiza el comportamiento de la prensa brasileña en el caso de la destrucción por 2 mil mujeres campesinas de un área de la empresa Aracruz Celulose. La hipótesis es que hay un doble prejuicio en las noticias: de género y de clase social. This article analyses the behaviour of the Brazilian press in the case of Aracruz Celulose, when 2.000 peasant women destroyed an area of the company. The hypothesis that guides the text is that there is a double prejudice of the media: of gender and social class.&nbsp
