Making music is a very personal endeavour, where artistic bias can impact artistic collaboration, software development and the commercialisation of software generated through the creative process. This investigation provides an understanding of the behavioural characteristics, artistic and technical knowledge and application, and industry contexts, of two groups of electronic musicians using a shared software platform.
