This paper presents a controller for four phase, 8/6 poles switched reluctance motor (SRM). The main focus of this paper is the role of the controller. Zero reference proximity switch, absolute encoder, the electronic cam positioner, the classic converter, (10 – 150) VDC main supply and the mentioned motor have been employed to perform this drive system
