Book review of Labor Movements: Global Perspectives by Stephanie Luce; If We Can Win Here: The New Front Lines of the Labor Movement by Fran Quigley and Bread, Freedom, Social Justice: Workers and the Egyptian Revolution by Anne Alexander and Mostafa Bassiouny. Several intersecting problems of labour movement organization permeate these three books. Overall, they demonstrate how the international spread of neoliberal policies and the accompanying proliferation of low-paid, insecure emoployment has generated very similar challenges for workers and unions cross-nationally.
