The study investigated the effect and perceptual differences of various workplace factors such as work environment, insomnia and emotions on job satisfaction among employees of manufacturing firms in Bangladesh. Data were collected from ten different firms over a period of four months based on structured questionnaire. Results indicated that job satisfaction is positively related with good work environment, while joviality and attentiveness are negatively related with insomnia, hostility, and fatigue with regard to managerial employees (MEs). Conversely, insomnia and fatigue have no relationship with job satisfaction with regard to non-managerial employees (NMEs).
