Evidence is mounting that consumer needs and wants are increasingly converging. This convergence is aided by a variety of products and services, including satellite dishes and globe-spanning TV networks. It is often claimed that MTV has drastically changed youth culture around the world, defining popular culture and speaking on behalf of teenagers everywhere.
