Composite steel-concrete construction is more preferred by engineers due to their advantages against traditional reinforced concrete and steel construction. In some situations, the composite steel-concrete beams could be subjected to flexure and torsion and there is no rational design method available in any international standards. Therefore, this paper has proposed a finite element method that can be used to simulate the structural behavior of composite steel-concrete subjected to combined flexure and torsion.
