Close examination of epidemiological data reveals that individuals from culturally and linguisitically diverse (CALD) communities are less likely to be proactive in accessing health care or undertaking preventive health measures. The purpose of this study was to explore the physical activity services/initiatives currently provided to CALD women living in the three largest cities in Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane), to investigate why these women are not accessing such services, and to discuss the provision of further services to promote and support health promotion and physical activity in CALD groups throughout Australia
