Although TCM has played an indispensable role in maintaining the health of people in China and several Asian regions, its biomedical/scientific value remains largely not understood according to the biomedical and OM concept. Many existing reports are often inconclusive due to the often less stringent research design according to the general OM norm of clinical trials.
