Metal nanoparticles, especially gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) due to their optical, electronic, physicochemical, surface plasmon resonance properties, simple synthesis and functionalization are used in various fields of biomedicine, such as various sensor manufacturing, drug delivery, imaging, photothermal and photodynamic therapy.
