Textbooks approaches convey and translate the curricular policies and school concepts of each era. In the case of Geography textbooks, this can easily be perceived when comparing different editions of the same work. The present article aims to analyse how the textbook “Panorama Geográfico do Brasil”, written by the professor Melhem Adas and edited since the 1980s, has been addressing physical-natural themes throughout all its editions.
