The concept of constructivism is treated, in this study, according to geneticepistemology as a basic and applied science. Here we present four principles to itsdevelopment: a) an epistemological feed-back of constructivism; b) the dinamic unitbasic/applied science; c) the science seen as a characteristic of knowledge. These principlesare extended to the universe of language teaching and transfered to the reality of pedagogycalassumptions
