Bildung e Educação.

Based on the reference to philosophy, literature, and educational projects – such as the creation of the University of Berlin – at the end of the 18th Century and the beginning of the 19th Century in Germany, it is our purpose to make explicit the polisemy of the concept of Bildung (formation, self-formation, cultivation). We use the paradigmatic counterposition between “aesthetic education” and “political education” as a concrete example, showing its misunderstanding. Finally, we demonstrate the link between these terms and the modern project of constitution of political and aesthetical subjectivity.A partir da referência à filosofia, à literatura e aos projetos educacionais – como, por exemplo, a criação da Universidade de Berlim – do final do século XVIII e início do século XIX, na Alemanha, busca-se explicitar a polissemia do conceito de Bildung (formação, autoformação, cultivo). Utiliza-se como mote a contraposição, tornada paradigmática, entre “educação estética” e “educação política”, para mostrar o equívoco de tal contraposição. Por fim, demonstra-se a vinculação daqueles termos ao projeto moderno de constituição da subjetividade política e estética
