EDUCAÇÃO MUSICAL E SOCIABILIDADE: UM ESTUDO EM ESPAÇOS DE ENSINAR/APRENDER MÚSICA EM UBERLÂNDIA (MINAS GERAIS) NAS DÉCADAS DE 1940 A 1960

This article presents the results of a dissertation of in Music Education that it investigated how the pedagogical-musical sociability was and is constituted in spaces for teaching/learning music in Uberlândia from 1940-1960. Six of the various locations were selected for researched interviews and documents: the Municipal Band, the private music class, the school, the Orchestral Group of Liceu, the Feminine Lira Band of Uberlândia, and the Music Conservatory of Uberlândia. The types of sociabilities established in these locations when music was taught/learned were studied using the Historical Oral approach, utilizing oral sources combined with written and iconographic ones. From these oral reports, it was possible to "enter" the everyday life of a music class, understand the meanders of pedagogical-musical practice in the "manner" of teaching/learning music, in the contents, repertoire, as well as in the type of interaction with which each agent was involved: when learning/teaching, playing in a group or individually, or performing in the city or out-of-town. Considering that each space was organized around specific pedagogical-musical practices, ideas, values, and tastes, it is possible to affirm that each one had its own pedagogical-musical production and dissemination, each with their own specifications. However, when viewing the pedagogical-musical sociability in a larger picture, it is possible to affirm that the pedagogical-musical production, as well as the dissemination, had regularities in the interactive process of learning/teaching music in the city of Uberlândia between 1940-1960.Este artigo apresenta os resultados de uma tese em Educação Musical que se propôs a investigar e compreender como se constituía e estava constituída uma sociabilidade pedagógico-musical em espaços de ensinar/aprender música em Uberlândia, (MG), nas décadas de 1940 a 1960. Dos vários espaços, seis ganharam destaque: a Banda Municipal de Música, a aula particular de música, a escola, o Conjunto Orquestral do Liceu, a Banda Lira Feminina Uberlandense e o Conservatório Musical de Uberlândia. Como método foi utilizado a História Oral, combinando as fontes orais com fontes escritas e iconográficas. A partir dos relatos orais foi possível apreender o cotidiano da aula de música, compreender meandros da prática pedagógico-musical nos "jeitos" de ensinar/aprender música, nos conteúdos, no repertório, bem como no tipo de interação na qual cada agente estava envolvido: seja quando se ensinava/aprendia, seja quando se tocava em conjunto ou individualmente, ou quando se apresentava na cidade ou fora dela. Considerando que cada espaço se organizava em torno de determinadas práticas pedagógico-musicais, idéias, valores e gostos, é possível afirmar que cada um deles tinha uma produção e divulgação pedagógico-musical que mantinha suas especificidades. No entanto, quando se pensa em uma sociabilidade pedagógico-musical em uma visão mais macro é possível dizer ainda que tanto a produção quanto a divulgação pedagógico-musical têm suas regularidades no processo interativo de se ensinar/aprender música na cidade de Uberlândia nas décadas de 1940 a 1960
