The life paths of young people from late teenage years to the late twenties have been subject to great changes in the last decades. These changes are most evident when it comes to events that used to stand for becoming an adult: finishing education, finding work, getting married or starting a serious relationship and becoming a parent. This paper focuses mainly on relationships of young people in emerging adulthood. It stands as a fact that people start perceiving relationships in a different way at this point in their lives. They no longer seek only fun, but rather wish to find a spouse, start a serious relationship and create their own family at about 30 years of age.
