Research shows that developing algorithmic thinking helps pupils evolve their capabilities and skills for solving problems, which is one the desired competences nowadays. Algorithmic thinking is present at programming, but it can also be evolved in pupils separately, without programming. The first part of thesis consists of a description of the projects and tools that stimulate in students an algorithmic way of thinking. As a future Computer Science teacher, I am bothered by the lack of programming teaching classes in primary schools, so I have decided to create a workshop out of the described activities.
