Men and women have a different roles and value in society. We can perceive through history that women are inferior and because of this are subordinate to men. In the theoretical part we first examined how men and womens relationships are being interpreted by theologians like De Beauvoir, Bourdieu, Butler and Ortner. Through different research we presented the development of gender differences, gender stereotypes and their influences on boys and girls. In the empirical part we researched through interviews with children their idea about how they see men and women.
