Colours in school space

Humans are emotional beings. From day to day the modern world inspires emotions in us. A walk in the forest calms us, whereas hanging out in a pub invigorates and cheers us up. In most cases we are not aware of the visual effects, with which our surroundings effect our feelings and emotions (Starmer, A., 2010). In school colors also have a big impact on our mood, readiness to work, keeping up with the class and our efficiency. My diploma thesis is divided into theoretical part, in which we have focused on the color theory, where we have described the general facts about colors, the importance of colors and their impact on our mood and feelings; an important part is dedicated to colors in the school area. In the empirical part we used a questioner to examine how specific colors influence teachers and pupils of the 4th and 6th grade primary school.
