Throughout the history of educational system few methods of assessing were changed and each among them has certain advantages and disadvantages. In order to determine what are the opinions of teachers regarding the assessment of physical education, I made a survey with primary school teachers from the Štajerska region. In a study based on 104 interviewees I learned which method of assessment of physical education seems the most appropriate to them in first and in second triad (choices were numerical, the word and descriptive assessment and without assessment).
