The Northwest Corridor (NWC) project was designed to address these concerns related to transportation capacity deficiencies, as well as to provide additional transportation choices, improve mobility and connectivity between activity centers, and reduce singleoccupancy vehicle travel while avoiding or minimizing adverse environmental impacts.104
