Termite tests are designed to study on how chemical preservatives such as Copper Chromated Arsenate (CCA), Bifenthrin, Fipronil, Amine Copper Quat (ACQ) and Deltamethrin protects wood at different retentions and wood species. The timber species selected to perform this research included Perah (Elateriospermum tapos ), Kedondong ( sp. of Buseraceae ), Kulim (Scorodocarpus borneensis), Tassie Oak (Eucalyptus sp.), Engkabang (Shorea macrophylla), rubberwood (Hevea brasilliensis), and Acacia mangium.
