This study aims to explore the implementation of safety culture in the construction industry in Selangor. More specifically, this study determined the importance of safety culture perceived by the construction employees, discussed the challenges in creating and maintaining safety culture, investigated the strategies to improve the implementation of safety culture, and identified the ways of improved safety training. A case study design was adopted and the interview was used as an instrument to collect data for this study. Purposive sampling was applied in order to get the suitable informants for this study.
