Eine effektive, rühzeitige Anpassung an diesen Klimawandel profitiert dabei enorm von möglichst genauen Abschätzungen künftiger Klimaänderungen. Das geeignete Werkzeug hierfür sind Gekoppelte Atmosphäre Ozean Modelle (AOGCMs).
