The present paper deals with Bianchi type IX cosmological model with magnetized anisotropic dark energy by using Barber’s self-creation theory. The energy momentum tensor consists of anisotropic fluid with EoS parameter <math id="M1" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mrow><mi>ω</mi></mrow></math> and a uniform magnetic field of energy density <math id="M2" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mrow><msub><mrow><mi>ρ</mi></mrow><mrow><mi>B</mi></mrow></msub></mrow></math> . In order to obtain the exact solution we have assumed that dark energy components and the components of magnetic field interact minimally and obey the law of conservation of energy momentum tensors.
