Usability testing of an annotation tool in a cultural heritage context

This paper presents the result of a usability test of an annotation tool. The annotation tool is implemented, used and tested in a cultural heritage context (CH), the TORCH project at the Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Science. The experiments employed non-experts with the intention of facilitating for crowd-sourcing of annotations. Interesting problems and usability patterns from the literature manifest in our experiments.
