In this report we give a short summary of the conference and provide some general impressions. For more detailed information the reader is referred to the conference proceedings which will be published by Elsevier Science Publishers in the monograph series "Advances in Parallel Computing". A selection of the best posters will be published in a special issue of Parallel Computing.
