O direito à saúde: representações de usuários de unidade básica de saúde

This study aimed to represent the right to health made by the user of a health service at the city of Valença, state of Rio de Janeiro, known representations of the users on the health-disease-process; analyze the representations of users on the social determinants participation in the health-illness, identify the forms of individuals organization from the community to ensure their right to health. A qualitative approach has been used, the data seized by the semi-structured, organized based on thematic analysis and taking the theoretical assumptions of the theory of social representations to analyze them. The representations of the users show health as the absence of symptoms that prevent their actions from living everyday without restrictions. On the other hand the disease is represented as physical symptoms related to organic changes. They represent the right to health as something legally established, but that the lack of community organization and lack of commitment of public authorities and professional reflect in a negative way so that the fact in practice has comproved that effectuation. The representation of the right to developed health, is linked to full operation of the unity health, to the equality and equity in access to the given services and such representation indicate the necessity for actions that put the user of the health service as a protagonist in realization of this right.O presente trabalho objetivou conhecer a representação do direito à saúde elaborada pelo usuário de um serviço de saúde localizado no município de Valença, estado do Rio de Janeiro; conhecer as representações dos usuários sobre o processo saúde-doença; analisar as representações dos usuários sobre a participação dos determinantes sociais no processo saúde-adoecimento; identificar as formas de organização dos indivíduos da comunidade para assegurarem seu direito à saúde. Utilizou-se a abordagem qualitativa, os dados apreendidos por meio da entrevista semi-estruturada, organizados baseados na análise temática e tendo os pressupostos teóricos da teoria das representações sociais para analisá-los. As representações dos usuários mostram saúde como ausência de sintomas que os impeçam de viver suas ações cotidianas sem restrições. Por outro lado a doença é representada como sintoma físico relacionado às alterações orgânicas. Representam o direito a saúde como algo legalmente constituído, mas que a falta de organização da comunidade e a falta de compromisso dos poderes públicos e dos profissionais repercutem de maneira negativa para que de fato, na prática, comprovasse essa efetivação. A representação do direito à saúde elaborada, encontra-se associada ao pleno funcionamento da unidade de saúde, à igualdade e à eqüidade no acesso aos serviços prestados e tal representação nos indica a necessidade de ações que coloquem o usuário do serviço de saúde como protagonista na efetivação desse direito
