Pajelança: uma prática de cura

This article discusses issues related to Anthropology of Religion and Historiography on health in Brazil, creating a connection between the two areas through religious context. We will use a broader discussion about state and society in which the issue of cultural diversity presents it self from the religious representations, we will talk about some notions of Afro Brazilian religion. Thus, we will adopt as a study objective the healing practices of the religious cults of Pajelança and their relationship with society..Este artigo debate questões relacionadas à Antropologia da Religião e a Historiografia sobre a saúde no Brasil, criando uma conexão entre as duas áreas por meio do contexto religioso. Utilizaremos para isso uma discussão mais ampla sobre estado e sociedade na qual a questão da diversidade cultural se apresenta a partir das representações religiosas, falaremos sobre algumas noções de religião de matriz afro brasileiras. Assim adotaremos como objeto de estudo as praticas de cura dos cultos religiosos da Pajelança e sua relação com a sociedade
