The topic of this paper discusses the commitment of the municipal schools of Belo Horizonte to the Flow Correction Project - Entrelaçando, which was implemented in 2010. It was developed for the Professional Graduate Program in Management and Public Education Evaluation of the Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora (Federal University of Juiz de Fora, MG) in order to obtain a master's degree. The project is aimed at students from eleven to fourteen years old, enrolled in the 1st or 2nd Elementary school cycle, and presenting distortion of two or more years of age, compared to age for each year of the cycle.
