The present dissertation, developed within the scope of the Professional Master Degree in Educational Management and Evaluation (PPGP) of the Public Policy Center and Education Evaluation at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (CAEd/UFJF), deals with the scope and impacts of two literary projects developed in a Public School located in a country town of the state of Minas Gerais - the POETIZAR project and the Festa Literária de Carmo da Mata project (Flicar). The proposal is to research the scope and impacts of these two literary projects at the Joaquim Afonso Rodrigues Public School, the only one public educational institution in Carmo da Mata town.
