This dissertation analyzes the implementation of the Project Reinventing High School, developed in public schools of the state of Minas Gerais, between the years 2012 and 2014, and as a research field, one high school in northern Minas Gerais. The study aimed to analyze the functioning of Reinventing High School, in order to support suggestions for future actions on high school in the state and contribute to the overcoming of duality that marks this level of teaching. The research was based on qualitative approach, with case study by applying semi-structured interviews with different subjects inserted on the project at the school.
