A metodologia webquest no ensino superior a distância: pesquisa e interatividade

The research aims to study the analysis of the potential of Webquest Methodology for teaching and research as a student's autonomy in the context of higher education at a distance. The aim was to analyze the possibilities and limitations for implementing the methodology Webquest, created from Dodge (1995), in virtual learning environments, in view of "teaching through research," from the concept of Demo and other authors. The study was based on the reflections from authors such as Santos Edméa, Celina A. A. Abar, Jarbas Novelino Cheap, José Armando Valente, Jose Manuel Moran, Marco Silva, Otto Peters, Simon Peter Marino and others who in some way, address the Webquest as a possible methodology of research and interactivity on the web. We discuss also the relationship between the internet and research and brought a brief account of the Distance. For the study, we present the methodology Webquest from its creation to the details of its construction and structure, as well as its relationship with Bloom's Digital Taxonomy (Churches, 2009). We adopted the research intervention, qualitative perspective, which enabled the creation of an experience of customs and practices of the Webquest, monitoring and analysis of its implementation. The experiment involved the teacher of the course, tutors and students of the UAB School of Education Faculty of Education, Federal University of Juiz de Fora offered in nine poles. The Webquest constructed for the study, "Family Mobilization," he added many features available in Moodle and the Web, aiming to increase the moments of interaction, indispensable for students of distance learning courses. To identify the profile of the students used the database of monitoring survey conducted by the Coordination of that course, and include in the questionnaire of the survey questions directed to students with this goal. The questionnaire was administered to all subjects involved in the process that could analyze the possibilities and limitations that this teaching strategy may present as incorporated in the courses of distance education, it is possible to ascertain the degree of involvement of students, tutors and teachers on the job that was under development in the Moodle platform. Another instrument of data collection was directed to the interview subject teacher and the students of the center of Coromandel. The results allowed to infer that, for the implementation of WebQuest methodology in virtual learning environments, there is need for training of teachers / tutors, since most do not know, and in some cases also do not know all the features of Moodle and the potential to add to these teaching strategies for distance education. Just as students, teachers / tutors need to continue "searching" the many features offered by Web 2.0, they can bring to the pedagogical practices. The survey results pointed to the acceptance of all the work with the Methodology Webquest, but also demonstrated that there is still internal issues in the learning mode of the distance that still require further elaboration.A pesquisa tem como objeto de estudo a análise do potencial da Metodologia Webquest para a pesquisa como ensino e a autonomia do estudante no contexto da formação superior a distância. O objetivo foi analisar as potencialidades e os limites para a implementação da Metodologia Webquest, criada do Dodge (1995), em ambientes virtuais de aprendizagem, na perspectiva do “ensinar através da pesquisa”, a partir do conceito de Demo e outros autores. O estudo pautou-se nas reflexões de autores como Abar (2008), Barato (2004), Demo (2003), Dodge (1995; 1997; 2005; 2007; 2010), Marinho (2008), Moran (2000), Peters (2009), Santos (2008), Silva (2010), Valente (1999),e outros que, de alguma maneira, abordam a Metodologia Webquest como possibilidade de pesquisa e interatividade na web. Abordamos também a relação entre a internet e a pesquisa e trouxemos um breve relato sobre a Educação a distância. Para o estudo, apresentamos a Metodologia Webquest desde sua criação até os detalhes de sua construção e estrutura, como também sua relação com a Taxonomia Digital de Bloom (CHURCHES, 2009). Adotou-se a pesquisa intervenção, de perspectiva qualitativa, que possibilitou a criação de uma experiência de usos e práticas da Webquest, seu acompanhamento e análise de sua implementação. A experiência envolveu o professor da disciplina, os tutores e os alunos da UAB do Curso de Pedagogia da Faculdade de Educação da Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora ofertado em nove pólos. A Webquest construída para o estudo, “Mobilização Familiar”, agregou diversos recursos disponíveis na plataforma Moodle e na Web, visando ampliar os momentos de interatividade, imprescindíveis para os alunos de cursos a distância. Para identificar o perfil dos alunos, utilizou-se o banco de dados da pesquisa de monitoramento realizada pela Coordenação do referido curso, além de incluir no questionário da pesquisa direcionado aos alunos algumas questões com este objetivo. O questionário foi aplicado em todos os sujeitos envolvidos no processo que pudessem analisar as potencialidades e os limites que essa estratégia pedagógica pode apresentar quando incorporada nos cursos de ensino a distância, sendo possível verificar o grau de envolvimento dos alunos, tutores e professores sobre o trabalho que estava em desenvolvimento na plataforma Moodle. Outro instrumento de coleta de dados foi a entrevista direcionada ao professor da disciplina e aos alunos do pólo de Coromandel. Os resultados permitiram aferir que, para a implementação da Metodologia Webquest em ambientes virtuais de aprendizagem, há necessidade de formação dos professores/tutores, já que a maioria não a conhece e, em alguns casos, também não conhece todos os recursos da plataforma Moodle e as potencialidades de agregar estes às estratégias pedagógicas para a Educação a distância. Assim como os alunos, professores/tutores necessitam continuar “pesquisando” os múltiplos recursos oferecidos pela Web 2.0, que podem trazer para as práticas pedagógicas. Os resultados da pesquisa apontaram para a aceitação de todos ao trabalhar com a Metodologia Webquest, mas, também demonstraram que ainda há questões internas no processo de aprendizagem da modalidade a distância que ainda carecem de maior aprofundamento
