The present dissertation was developed in the ambit of the Professional Master in Management and Assessment of Public Education (PPGP, in Portuguese) of the Center for Public Policy and Education Assessment of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (CAED / UFJF, in Portuguese). The management case studied discusses the continuing education of Literacy Teachers based on the actions proposed by the National Pact for Literacy at the Right Age - PNAIC (Portuguese) occurred in Recife.
