In Brazil, few institutions provide society with services as relevant as those provided by the Federal Institutions of Higher Education (IFES). The higher education model Brazilian public has been a reference for other countries, mainly because it tripod teaching, research and extension. As a mechanism for ongoing evaluation of IFES in country and consequent aid in the management of public resources, the Court of Auditors of the (TCU) suggests the use of a number of performance indicators for SFIs.
