This thesis aims to analyze the continuing education of teachers through the Educational Intervention Program / Literacy at the Right Time (PIP / ATC - acronyms in portuguese) directed mainly for teachers of 3º and 5º grades of elementary school, between the years 2008 to 2013, from the perspective of a school of the Regional Superintendent of Education based on Juiz de Fora - State of Minas Gerais (SRE / JF - acronyms in portuguese).
