Justiça restaurativa no Brasil – uma análise do processo de implementação no cenário de justiça juvenil

The present study presents the Restorative Justice system, exposing the main aspects about the implementation of this method in Brazil, and demonstrates the ways in which restorative mechanisms interact with the criminal system, especially in Juvenile Justice. The text presents the main characteristics of such method of conflict resolution, pointing out its origin and concept. It also analyzes the process of implementation of alternative methods to Traditional Justice in the Brazilian regions, highlighting the growth of JR (Restorative Justice) in the national territory as well as highlights the main projects developed in the states of Minas Gerais, Bahia, São Paulo, Rio Grande do Sul and in the city of Brasília. It brings, finally, an analysis of some of the projects of scientific initiation and academic extensions that approach this subject in national territory.O presente estudo apresenta o sistema de Justiça Restaurativa, expondo os principais aspectos acerca da implantação de referido método no Brasil, e demonstra as formas pelas quais os mecanismos restaurativos interagem com o sistema criminal, sobretudo no âmbito da Justiça Juvenil. O texto apresenta as principais características de tal método de resolução de conflitos, apontando sua origem e conceito. Analisa, ainda, o processo de implantação de métodos alternativos à Justiça Tradicional nas comarcas brasileiras, ressaltando o crescimento da JR (Justiça Restaurativa) no território nacional bem como destaca os principais projetos desenvolvidos nos estados de Minas Gerais, Bahia, São Paulo, Rio Grande do Sul e na cidade de Brasília. Traz, por fim, uma análise de alguns dos projetos de iniciação científica e extensão acadêmicas que abordam tal temática em território nacional
