This study investigates the capacities of abstraction and generalization of linguistic patterns in the early stages of the acquisition of mother tongue, emphasizing the relationship of nonadjacent dependencies (DNA) and exploring the relationship between functional items and word markers of nouns. Unlike previous studies, which used artificial languages - whose phonological, morphological and prosodical properties were very simple - this research uses a pseudonatural language, preserving such properties.
