En los 40 años de Medellín parroquia: de Medellín a aparecida

The title of this article deals with a short but interesting survey of the “parish” idea within the reflection of the Church gathered in the Latin American Conferences of Bishops in Medellín, Puebla, Santo Domingo and Aparecida, as well in the Synod of the Americas. Leaving behind the preconciliar reductionism still present in the Conference held in Rio de Janeiro whose reflection on the parish centered solely on the role of the parish priest, the following meetings of the bishops considered attentively the community of communities, the parish as the center of the religious experience, the communal conviviality, the biblical and doctrinal formation, and the missionary commitment of the whole Church. The purpose of this article is to set clearly the importance given to the parish structure for the renewal of our status as disciples and missionaries.Como su título lo indica se trata de un breve pero interesante recorrido por el concepto de Parroquia habido en la reflexión eclesial latinoamericana a lo largo de las conferencias episcopales (Medellín, Puebla, Santo Domingo y Aparecida), así como del Sínodo de las Américas. Dejando atrás el reduccionismo preconciliar todavía vigente en la Conferencia de Río de Janeiro que al pensar la parroquia reflexionó sobre el párroco, las asambleas posteriores de los obispos volcaron su mirada a la comunidad de comunidades, a la parroquia, centro de la experiencia religiosa, de la vivencia comunitaria, de la formaciónbíblico doctrinal y del compromiso misionero de toda la Iglesia. El objeto de este artículo habría de ser “dejar clara la importancia de la estructura  parroquial en la renovación de nuestra condición de discípulos y misioneros”
