The article develops the title of “Messiah” (Hebrew mashíaj xxxxxx; Greek christós) Xristsj) given to Jesus, through an etymological and biblical approach and through some considerations from a gender perspective, in the context of a feminist theology. Doing so, we find that the history of Jesus the Nazarene sustains the experience of a new faith; a faith that gives meaning to the human condition, to women in particular.
