In both industrial and transportation sectors, petroleum consumption has been increasing tremendously. It is known that increase in demand of fossil fuels leads to exhaust of petroleum products in future. Biofuel is a fuel made by chemically reacting alcohol with vegetable oils, fats, or greases, such as recycled restaurant greases. The metal-based additives are used in order to improve the quality of fuel by reducing the unburn hydrocarbons in IC engines, to minimize the exhaust gas harmful emissions.
