An energy analysis and assessment of the feasibility of the development and implementation of a condensing economizer (CE) for steam generator TGM-96A has been made. The condensing economizer is characterized with a very high heating capacity of 21 to 23.5 Gcal/h and will cool the fuel gases from 123°C down to 47°C. The utilized heat will be used to heat three water loops: two loops with District Heating Network water (DHN) and one with raw water from the Dnieper River. The expected improvement in the efficiency of the steam generator is 10.55%.
