Studi Pemulsaan dan Dosis NPK pada Hasil Buah Melon (Cucumis melo L)

ABSTRACT: This experiment was purposed to study the effects of mulch and dose of NPK fertilizer on the growth and yield of melon (Cucumis melo L), done at Kalipucangwetan, Jepara, 7 meters above sea level, with latosol type of soil. The experiment design was split plot based on Randomized Complete Block Design involving two factors ( three levels of mulch as main plot; and three levels of of NPK fertilizer as sub plot) The highest yield was reached at black silver synthetic mulch and 80 grams NPK fertilizer treatment (fruit weight 2,62 kgs and 12,8 Brix in sugar containt), the lowest yield was reached at without mulch abd 40 grams NPK fertilizer treatment (fruit weight 1,67 kgs and 10,47 Brix in sugar containt
