This program computes the magneto-optic Kerr effect (MOKE) of magnetic multi-layered thin-film systems. It is based on the full 4x4 matrix formalism following: P. Yeh, Surface Science 96, 41 (1980), and S. Visnovsky, Czechoslovak Journal of Physics 41, 663 (1991). Apart from the complex Kerr angles the program can also compute the layer-sensitive coefficients linear and quadratic in the Cartesian magnetization components as explained in: K. Postava et al., J. Appl. Phys. 91, 7293 (2002). (The quadratic coefficients are restricted to isotropic or cubic materials with (001) orientation at the moment).
